Dr. Axe, it is not nice to erase comments.

Well Science Pony is perplexed. It all started when I tagged in on a post promoting a “Free” webinar on “leaky gut” and the thyroid and adrenal system by my friend and fellow skeptic/science defender Ryan Phillips.  Having taken time and effort to carefully craft polite, evidence-based queries for Dr. Axe, MD, I was confused and a bit hurt to see that not 20 minutes later they had all disappeared from his page, without even so much as a sugar cube thrown my way. How uncivil.

Here is the NHS article on “Leaky Gut”. here is the Scienceblogs article by Orac on “Adrenal Fatigue”, here is the news report about the chelation death and here is an link to Dr Axe’s website where he talks a bunch of autism woo and then recommends chelation as a “natural” treatment.

Cheers and thanks and remember what Science Pony always says:
Screenshots or it didn’t happen. 😉

Nice. Maybe not the ‘just a theory’ bit next time though? I think we need to educate people on scientific theory vs colloquial theory.
